Done typing into Salesforce?

PlatformPilot reads your email and chat, keeps your people, companies and deals current, and shows you the message behind every change. It asks before it changes a record, and after five approvals in a row it can work alone.

Every Salesforce claim on this page links to Salesforce's own pages.

A deal in PlatformPilot, as the app draws it: an agent proposes a new amount and close date for the Halden Freight renewal, and nothing changes until you approve.

Logged, or kept current.

On Salesforce, Activity Capture logs your email on the record. The agent that turns it into field updates is extra on Core and Advanced, and comes with Max at $550 a user a month. On PlatformPilot, you read what changed and why, and approve it.

On Salesforce

Below Max, by hand
  1. Activity Capture logs the email on the record.
  2. Someone reads it and updates the deal.
  3. Or buy the Pipeline Management agent, or move to Max.

The Pipeline Management agent is “Available for purchase” on Core and Advanced, and “By default, the agent suggests field updates”: Sales Cloud pricing, Pipeline Management guide.

On PlatformPilot

2 steps for each update
  1. Read the proposed update and the email behind it.
  2. Approve.

Later, not even that. After five approvals in a row, it can work alone.

Salesforce sells it by edition.

Credits, storage and API calls have limits too: everything Salesforce counts.

Claude or ChatGPT? Metered.

Salesforce says every call a registered agent makes, over MCP or the API, “is metered as a Headless Platform Interaction.” The rate isn't set yet, and metering starts after 30 days' notice. On PlatformPilot, Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor read and write your Brain over MCP, on every plan.

Your own key? 20% more.

Bringing your own key takes Shield Platform Encryption, at “20% of net spend,” or all of Shield at 30%. On PlatformPilot your key is on every plan, in your own Google Cloud.

PlatformPilot sells it whole.

Every plan has all of it, from one person to your whole company. No add-on for your key. No higher plan for the Brain.

Eight to none.

Eight things a CRM should do for you. PlatformPilot does all eight. Salesforce does none in full, by its own documentation, read on Oct 25, 2026.

PlatformPilot compared with Salesforce on eight capabilities, as read on Oct 25, 2026.

Switch in three steps.

  1. Connect Salesforce over MCP.

On Core and up, add Salesforce's hosted MCP server to PlatformPilot and sign in. Nothing to export.

  2. Ask your agent to bring it all over.

It reads your objects and adds your leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities as people, companies and deals.

  3. Connect your mail and chat.

Gmail or Outlook, Slack or Teams. From then on, it learns from the work itself.

Running Service Cloud too? Tickets keeps client work in the same CRM as the clients it's for, on the same bill: Service Cloud alternative.

Before you switch.

Why switch from Salesforce to PlatformPilot?

To stop typing your deals in, or paying more for the AI that does it. PlatformPilot learns from your email and chat, shows where every fact came from, asks before it changes a record, keeps client work in Tickets, and keeps your encryption key in your own Google Cloud on every plan.

How much does Salesforce Sales Cloud cost?

$25 a user a month on Starter Suite, $100 on Pro Suite, and $195, $395 or $550 on Core, Advanced or Max, billed yearly (Sales Cloud pricing). Core, Advanced and Max replaced Enterprise, Unlimited and Agentforce 1, and existing customers keep their old prices (New Salesforce editions).

Does Salesforce charge for AI?

Core includes 500,000 Flex Credits a year for the whole org, Advanced 1 million and Max 2.75 million. An agent action uses 20, priced at $0.10, and more cost $500 per 100,000 (Agentforce pricing). Agentforce for Sales is an add-on from $125 a user a month (Sales Cloud pricing).

Can Salesforce update records from email?

Activity Capture syncs email and calendar from Starter Suite up. The agent that turns email and calls into field updates is extra on Core and Advanced and included on Max, and by default it only suggests updates (Sales Cloud pricing, Pipeline Management guide).

Is there a free version of Salesforce?

The Free Suite is for up to 2 users (Free Suite allocations), and every edition has a 30-day trial (Sales Cloud pricing).

How do I move my data from Salesforce?

On Core and up, connect Salesforce's hosted MCP server to PlatformPilot and ask your agent to bring your records over. Salesforce's hosted MCP servers are “intended only for customers with Flex Credits” (Hosted MCP servers), and Salesforce says agent calls will be metered (Understand AIforce impact).

Can I hold my own encryption key in Salesforce?

With Shield Platform Encryption, from Core up (Enterprise and up, in Salesforce's help): 20% of net spend, or 30% for all of Shield (Shield pricing, Bring your own key).

Do I need Service Cloud for a help desk?

Sales Cloud includes cases, but the Service Console needs a Service Cloud feature licence (Service Cloud feature licence), and a customer portal needs Core or above (Experience Cloud licences). PlatformPilot's Tickets is part of its CRM: Service Cloud alternative.
